Careful genealogy
Priscilla and Gloria are remembered as full sisters under Cecil Truman Arthur and Anna Bertha Ackermann. Lee Anderson Arthur is confirmed as the name in the earlier Arthur generation. These statements are preserved as family-confirmed while the paper trail is completed.
West Virginia records document Lee Anderson Arthur, Pricy Arthur, and a Cecil Arthur birth entry in Webster County. Those records provide a credible research path, but they do not by themselves prove every parent-child link shown in family memory.
Family stories are important clues, but tribal citizenship or treaty rights require a documented line to an ancestor on the records accepted by a specific Tribal Nation. Social Security numbers are not the deciding proof. The next step is to complete each parent-child link and then compare the proven ancestor with the appropriate Nation’s enrollment records.
